3 Car Accident
Some of you may or may not know but I was in an accident Saturday evening. I was heading home to waterloo from Atlantic when I was involved in a 3 car accident. I’m physically fine but my truck is dead and resting peacefully somewhere (I’m not exactly sure where it was hauled off too). I can’t tell you much more about the accident at this time, just that I was the only one to physically walk away from it. Quite scary really. Here’s a thought, what if I hadn’t washed my windows while I filled up with gas in Des Moines. I recall that the gas stopped pumping, but I hadn’t quite finished cleaning off my windshield yet. Had I not decided to clean my windshield, I probably would of left the gas station 10 seconds early…
So whats the lesson here? Wear your seat belt, drive a big old truck, and whenever you get the chance, wash your windshield while filling up with gas.
