Here comes the judge, Here comes the Judge
Once again the state of Iowa feels I need to serve my civic duty and appear in court on Thursday afternoon. However this time, it’s not to serve on a panel of jurrors. Last, Friday morning I was awaken by serveral harsh knocks on my door. After Wrigley had alerted me that someone was here I decided to stay in bed because it just might of been those damn mormon people again coming by to harass me for my beliefs (or lack thereof). Well, apparently they were feeling persistent and knocked again louder, and far more anoying than the first time, so I decided to get up and give them a piece of my mind. Well apparently it wasn’t the mormons. It was a police officer, who had stopped by to issue me my subpoena to appear in court to testify against my old landlord. I can’t say that I was surprised as apparently the Cedar Falls rental inspector had been calling anyone and everyone in the state of Iowa that had the last name of Fiddelke in hopes that they would some how know my name, number, and address. Anywho, apparently my old landlord didn’t feel the need to pay some fee to the city of cedar falls in order to have a rental property. So it’s my job to show up and pretty much say yes I lived there and YES she was in fact crazy. Well not so much the last part, but we’ll see if I can sneak that into my testimony some how.
As for the title, that’s a little blurb from a song I remember from my childhood road trips we’d take as family. I believe the Cassette was Goofy Greats. And after a bit of research it appears as if it was Here Comes the Judge by Bobby Biggs (I ‘could’ provide you with the full song, but here is a 30 second preview so I dont go to jail)
