Yes it’s true there is apparently a website that certain state’s list their old crap for sale on. Fortunately Iowa is one of them(Go to Advanced Search and choose the state of your choice). It appears that most of the items are located in either Iowa City or Cedar Rapids and none of the auctions will actually ship you your product so you’ll have to make a trip to pick it up. Personally I can’t think of a better reason to drive to Iowa city then to pick up my 1987 Grumman 102′ Aerial Cat Fire Truck for a scant $23,000. They don’t just sell old fire trucks they have all kinds of useless crap like Rice Cookers, Computer Towers, and Noodle Cutters.

It’s true, My butt does in fact hurt worse than my wrist ever did.  Yesterday I received my statement from my insurance provider.  After it was all tallied up, I ended up owing $352.08 (hospital extras & Emergency room services) and 157.29 (surgeon fees).  Apparently 12 stitches (approximately 3 inches of string I’m guessing), salene solution, and some brown stuff that makes open wounds bubble are all apparently very expensive and well worth the $509.37 I was billed.  Had I known I was going to be charged this much I would of gone to walmart and bought a sewing kit and a bottle of Jack.  Oh well, I’ve met the first part of my deductible so all my bills are covered 80/20 now until I hit my $1000 dollar mark.  So my goal is to reach $1000 and really stick it to the insurance company .  So I’m looking for contestants to compete against in the new “Matt Fiddelke 1st anual motorcycle wheelie contest”
